New weekly gig

From now until the end of June, I am leading and accompanying the Senior Sing-A-Long, part of NAAP's outreach programs. (I am a long-term sub, as the normal pianist is out of town this spring.) A small group of people meet weekly in Chinatown, and under the aegis of Baayork Lee, we sing through a number of musical theatre and pop/rock standards. I'm excited to work with them every week!

I'm transitioning this page to a blog format, so that news postings can be updated easier and can be accessed via a RSS feed. Below are previous news updates; further updates will be posted as they come in.

**I'm excited to announce that I will be the musical director for the 2nd Annual Sondheimas Celebration at 54 Below, on March 21, 2015. This year's lineup includes Molly Pope, Orville Mendoza, Scottie Rowell, and more! I'm excited to be a part of this again, after arranging a piece for last year's celebration. More information can be found at 54 Below. I hope to see you there!

**I will be assisting Dan Manjovi with music preparation and copy/engraving work in advance of readings of his musical I Am, I Will, I Do. Readings will be held February 9th and 10th at Shetler Studios on 54th St. The cast is energetic and brings his score & book to life. I'm thrilled to be helping out with this project, doing something I love: music engraving!

**For the 2nd year in a row, I will be playing the 2nd Keyboard book for the national tour of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical. It's a great book to play, with just the right amount of challenge and enjoyability "built in" to it. This year's tour is 10 weeks long. I'm looking forward to celebrating Christmas with almost 200,000 people across the western states!
